Arsenal defender Andre Santos has been arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving.

The 29-year-old Brazil international was detained on Friday after police noticed a Maserati being driven erratically near Arsenal's training ground.

The Sun newspaper reported on Wednesday that the car reached speeds up to 209km/h. The maximum speed limit in Britain is 113km/h.

Police say a breath test was not administered.

Santos has been released on bail.
